Now you are ready to add
the second layer which is the mountains. See
my mountain tutorial.
Paint brush size 3
hardness 100 density 100 thickness 100
rotation 0 opacity 100 color #1e1e26.
Add a new raster layer and
sketch the mountain

Airbrush size 15 hardness

82 opacity 100. Airbrush just
below the lines of the sketch. |

push brush edge of the image
downward. |

Let's try to put more
details on the mountain. Airbrush the light
specks sideways, downward and airbrush the
parts where the shadows should be and make
the highlights visible where the sun should
be shining. |
|
Add a little color to the
mountain. Airbrush size 15 hardness 100 step
30 density 24 thickness 100
rotation 0 opacity 100. Use color #6c714f,
#88789c, #7d789c, #a19a93, #522210 and
#252812. |
 |
|
 |
Push brush size 11
hardness 50 step 1 density 36 thickness 100
rotation 0, opacity 39. Airbrush the
dabbed paint around the mountain. Tip: If
the brush spread too much paint reduce the
brush size, the
opacity, density, and hardness. And if does
not spread enough paint, increase the brush
size,
opacity, and hardness. Experiment until you
satisfied with your work. See on the left.
Hide the layer 1 (background). Merge the
layer 2 and 3. |
|
Add a new layer. Paint
brush size 3 color #000000 hardness 100 step
5 density 100 thickness 100
rotation 0 opacity 100. Draw a line as shown
on the right. This is going to be a land. |

 |
Paint brush 26, color
#754926, hardness 100 step 5 density 100
thickness 38 rotation 82 opacity 100.
Paint brush the image as on the left. |
