Wooden Corner Rack Tutorial
You will need a PSP7 to do this tutorial.
Get the trial version at http://www.jasc.com
You may use your own wood grain pattern or any pattern you please to
do this tutorial. Open up a canvas size 500x500. Click on the wood grain
pattern you are going to use. Change your foreground/background to that
pattern. Click on preset shape tool/rectangle and draw a rectangle size
310x320.
Put a node on top of the image and change that node to symmetric. Pull
the node up to make a circular shape. Images below.
Convert to raster layer. Click on tool option/selection/ellipse.
Make an ellipse selection on the bottom of the image. Move the image
around to center the ellipse. See below.
Click on edit/cut and undo the selection.
Click on Effects/3D effects/inner bevel. Settings below. Click OK.
Click on deformation tool. Hold the shift
key and slightly pull the right node up. Hit apply. Click on Edit/Copy
and paste the image as a new layer. Click on Image/Mirror. See image
below.
Click on preset shapes/triangle. Use the same
wood grain pattern. Draw a triangle inside the image. Convert to raster
layer. Click on effects/3D effect/inner bevel. Settings below. Click
OK. Copy and paste the shelf a new layer. Make 1 more copy, you should
have 3 shelves total. Merge all the layers.
I added some decorations on top using the
preset shape tool/heart and text font letter "U" and inner beveled them.
Go
here to get the
floral 2 font. Your image should look similar to the image below after
you get done with it. Don't forget to save it before putting all the
decorations on the shelf.
