You will need the zip tiles below. Download the zip file and extract it to your folder.
Open up a canvas size 400x500. Click on preset shape tool and choose rectangle. Set the foreground color to black and background color to fill, choose the redfabric from the fill menu. Draw a rectangle on the center of the canvas. Click the nodes button. Change the 2 top nodes to symmetrics. Then squeeze the arrows for about half an inch length, pull the left node outward and do the same thing with the right node. Click back to the preset shape tool and draw another rectangle halfway below the first rectangle. Add nodes to the leftside, rightside and bottom side of the rectangle and change all the nodes to symmetrics except the node on the top left. Node the rectangle as shown below. Convert the layer to raster layer.

Click on the selection tool and make sure that it set to rectangle, draw a rectangle on the top of the 2nd rectangle and cut the where it is selected. Image below.
Deselect. Merge all the layers visible. Make the image selected. Click on Effects/3D Effects/CutOut and apply cutout to the image. Settings are: OFFSETS 1, OPACITY 72, BLUR 12.5, fill interior with color unchecked, shadow color black. Click OK. Deselect.
Click on preset shape tool and choose the shape round rectangle. Set your fill to green fabric. Draw a shape on top of the sock. Convert to raster layer. Make the image selected and apply cutout.
Click on preset shape tool, still round rectangle. Change your fill to red plaid. Draw a strip of rectangle on the green fabric. Convert to raster layer. Make it selected and apply cutout.
Lets put some buttons on that strip. Click on preset shape and choose elipse. Change the fground and bground colors to #B3D1AB. Draw a small elipse to an empty space on the canvas. Convert to raster layer. Make it selected. Click on EFFECTS/ 3D EFFECTS/ INNER BEVEL. Apply inner bevel to the elipse. Deselect. Settings below.
Preset shape, elipse, fground/bground colors to black. Draw a tiny elipse anywhere on the canvas. Convert to raster layer and apply a drop shadow. Settings: OFFSETS 1-2, OPACITY 36 and BLUR 0, SHADOW COLOR - WHITE. Place the black elipse on the green elipse, copy and paste.
Click on the draw tool and set it to point to point, width is 2. Change the fground color to red and no fill. Draw a straight line from one black elipse to another. Convert to raster layer. Merge all the layers. Make the button selected, cut and paste it on the canvas as a new layer. Make it selected and apply cutout. Use the same cutout settings above. Copy and paste it as a new layer 5 times. You should have a total of 6 buttons. Line them up on the red strip.
Click on preset shape tool, set to rectangle. Set your fground color to black and background color to green stripe tile. Draw a rectangle on the upper part of the sock. Convert to raster layer. Change your fill to green plaid tile. Draw a rectangle on the bottom part of the sock. Convert to raster layer.
Preset shape tool, triangle. Change your fill to the red fabric tile. Draw a triangle on the center of the stripe tile. Draw another rectangle and node it to make the whole image as santa's hat. Convert to raster layer. Change the preset shape to elipse, bground color to white. Draw a small elipse on the point of the second triangle drawn. Convert to raster layer. Make it selected apply cutout. Change the preset shape to round rectangle, use the same color and draw a white strip below the hat. Convert to raster layer. Click on the draw tool and change the line style to opposing arrowhead-overlap, point to point, size 1. Change the fground color to #428842 and no fill. Draw a line just above the white strip. Convert to raster layer.
