Vector Happy Snowman |

This tutorial is written for PSP9, can be
tried on earlier or later versions. |

| Open a canvas
600x600, transparent. Click pen tool/ Freehand/ size 1,
foreground and background any color of your choice. Draw a
shape on the upper center of the canvas. Edit the nodes.
Convert to raster layer. Make the layer selected/ Effects/
3D effects/ cutout. Settings below. DESELECT.
Name this image "left-earmuff". Apply drop shadow. |

| Pen tool/
Freehand/ size 1, foreground and background color of your
choice, preferably white. Freehand draw a shape over the
left-earmuff. Edit the node and convert to raster layer.
Make the layer selected and apply CUTOUT. Use the same
settings/ just change the shadow color to #268f96 .
Name this image "snowman-head". Apply drop shadow. |

freehand/ size 1/ foreground/ background color #0000000.
Freehand draw a shape as shown on screen shot. |

| Edit the nodes/
Convert to raster layer. Copy and paste as a new layer and
place it on the right side. Merge the layers down and name
it "eyes". |

| Pen tool/
freehand/ size 1/ foreground /background color or pattern to
match the earmuff. Freehand draw the image. Edit the nodes
and convert to raster layer. Make the image selected and
apply CUTOUT.
Name this image "earmuff-band". Apply drop shadow. |

| Preset Shape
tool/ ellipse/ foreground/ background color white/ or
white-pattern of your choice. Place an ellipse on the bottom
part of the canvas. Edit the nodes and convert to raster
layer. Make the ellipse selected, click on Effects/ 3D
effects/ CUTOUT/ change the shadow color to #37c4c9 and Blur
to 50. OK. DESELECT.
Name this image "body". Apply drop shadow. |

and apply cutout. Change the blur to 20 and shadow color to
#000000. DESELECT. Name this image "scarf1". Apply

DESELECT and name this image "vest". Apply drop shadow. |

Click on Paint Brush/ size 10/ color #000000. Add a new
raster layer. Put a dot on the vest and call
it buttons. Make the buttons selected and Click on EFFECTS/
3D EFFECTS/ DROP SHADOW. Settings: OFFSET/ Vertical 1/
Horizontal 1. ATTRIBUTES/ Opacity 60 Blur 3/ Color #FFFFFF. |
