PSPX Bear Tutorial Page 2

Pen tool/ point to point size 1/ line style zipper. Draw a point to point line on the forehead. Add a node on the center, pull it slightly to the right. Convert to raster layer and name it "b-stitches". Apply drop shadow, shadow color #ffffff.

Preset shape/ ellipse/ foreground and fill color to bear color. Draw an ellipse on the right side of the
body. Edit the nodes and convert to raster layer

Add a new raster layer. Airbrush the around the image. Apply Gaussian Blur 7. Make the "b-right-arm
" layer selected. Selections/ invert. Click on the airbrush layer and hit DELETE. Merge the layer
down. DESELECT

Preset shape/ ellipse. Draw an ellipse on the opposite side. Edit the nodes and convert to raster
layer.

Add a new raster layer and airbrush around the image. Apply Gaussian Blur 7. Delete the excess
paint. Merge the layer down. Name this layer "b-left-arm".

Preset shape/ ellipse. Draw an ellipse on the left-arm. Edit the nodes and convert to raster layer.

Add a new raster layer. Airbrush tool/ reduce the density to 50. Airbrush around the image. Apply
Gaussian Blur 4 . Remove the excess paint. Name this layer "b-left-hand". Merge the layer down.
DESELECT

Make the b-body highlighted on the layer pallet. Preset shape ellipse. Draw an ellipse on the left side
of the body. Edit the nodes. Turn the image to the left. Convert to raster layer.

Airbrush tool size 20. Add a new raster layer. Apply airbrush around the image. Apply Gaussian blur
7. Make the ellipse selected. Invert the selection. Click on the airbrush layer and hit delete. Merge the layer down. Name this "b-right-leg". DESELECT

Preset shape/ ellipse. Draw an ellipse just below the right leg. Edit the nodes, turn the ellipse to the left and convert to raster layer.

Airbrush tool/ reduce the size to 11. Add a raster layer. Airbrush around the image. Apply Gaussian blur 4. Delete the excess paint. Merge the layer down. Name this layer "right-foot". DESELECT

Preset shape/ foreground color #000000 and fill color #c89398. Change the line style to zipper. Draw an ellipse on the left side of the b-body. Edit the nodes and convert to raster layer. Name this layer "b-left-sole".

Preset shape/ bear color. Change the line style back to solid. Draw an ellipse on the right side of the body. Edit the nodes. Turn the image to the right. Convert to raster layer.

Airbrush tool size 20. Add a raster layer. Airbrush around the image. Apply Gaussian Blur 7. Make the image selected. Invert the selection and remove the excess paint. Merge the layer down. Name this image "b-right-leg". DESELECT

Add a stitches on the body. Click the "b-body layer". Pen tool/ point to point/ line style zipper.

Place a point to point line to the body. Add a node on the center. Pull the node a little to the right.

Edit the node and Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow/ vertical 1/ horizontal 1 opacity 50/ blur 2/ shadow color #fffffff. Merge the layer down to the body.

Click each layer and start adding noise. Adjust/ Add/ Remove Noise/ Add Noise/ Uniform checked,
Noise 15% and Monochrome checked. OK

Ok, save your bear in psp format. You might want to use it again later.  End of Bear Tutorial,
