This tutorial is written for PSPX but can tried on
the earlier or later versions.
Open a canvas 400 x
500, transparent. Foreground/ fill color or pattern of your
choice. Preset shape/ rectangle. Draw 2 rectangles on the
canvas. Convert to raster layer and apply inner bevel.
Settings above. Change the angle to 325.
Preset shape,
round rectangle. Draw a round rectangle on the canvas. Add a
node on top. Change the node to symmetric. Pull the node
slightly up and then pull it slightly to the right to give
it a round shape.
Convert to raster layer. Effect/ 3D
effects/ inner bevel. Settings below.
Copy and paste
it 5x on the canvas. Assemble the it as shown on the screen
shot.
Preset shape/
same foreground and fill color. Draw another post on the
center, taller than the rest. Add a node on top and edit the
node to give it a rounded shape. Convert to raster layer and
apply inner bevel. Copy and paste it on the opposite side.
Make a selection
to delete the 2 horizontal post on the center.
Preset shape/
round rectangle/ same foreground and fill color. Draw a
rectangle for a gate. Convert to raster layer.
Change the foreground and fill color to any color. Preset
shape and choose the country heart that goes with this
tutorial. Place the heart on the center of the gate. Convert
to raster layer.
Make the heart
selected. Click the gate layer and hit Delete. Delete the
heart. The gate should have a heart hole. DESELECT .
Preset shape/
Heart 1/ same foreground and fill color. Place a little
hearts above the big heart. Convert to raster layer. Copy
and paste 4X. Assemble them as shows on the screen shot.
Make it selected
Click on the
gate and hit DELETE. This should put little heart holes on
the gate. DESELECT. Apply inner bevel. Change the Smoothness
and Depth to 5. OK
Preset shape/
ellipse/ foreground and fill color to #c0c0c0. Place a small
ellipse on the canvas. Convert to raster layer. Apply inner
bevel. Copy and paste 2X. Assemble the ellipse as shown on
the screen shot.
Merge the layers
down and apply drop shadow. Vertical 1/ Horizontal1/ Opacity
100/ Blur 2. OK. Copy and paste 3X, and place them as shown
on the screen shot.
Preset shape/
Heart 1/ same foreground and fill. Draw a heart above the
gate. Convert to raster layer. Apply inner bevel.
You may colorize this heart if you desire or leave it as
it is.
Merge the layers visible. Add a text and decorations to your
