Tulip Tutorial with Selections.

You will need PSPX program.  Get the free trial at Corel.com. 
Download the selections.

 
Open canvas size 360x550, transparent. Click on Selections/ Load/ Save Selections/ Load Selection from Disk.  Load the leaves1 selection. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with #00c000. DESELECT. Make the image selected again by using the selection tool/ rectangle.

Effects/ 3D Effects/ Cut out. Settings below. Change the shadow color to #073707. DESELECT.

Load the stems1 selection. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with #00c000. DESELECT.  Make the image selected again and apply CUTOUT. Change the Blur to 10. DESELECT.

Load the stem and leaf selection. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with #00c000. DESELECT. Make it selected again and apply CUTOUT.

Load the stem and leaf selection. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with #00c000. DESELECT. Make
it selected again and apply CUTOUT.

Load the selection petals1. OK Flood fill the selections indicated on the screen shot. DESELECT.

 Make the images selected by using the selection tool/ rectangle.  Apply CUTOUT.  Settings below.


Selections/ Load the selection petals2. Add a new raster layer and flood fill the selections with their designated colors. Deselect.

Make the image selected again and apply CUTOUT. DESELECT

Load the petals 3 selection. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with their designated colors.
DESELECT.

Make the image selected again and apply CUTOUT. DESELECT

Load the pot1 selection. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #a55d01. DESELECT. Make it
selected again. Add a new raster layer. Click on airbrush tool/ size 20/ hardness 100/ step 10/
density 6/ thickness 100/ rotation 0/ opacity 100/ color #6a462c.



Adjust/ Blur/ Gaussian Blur 10. OK. DESELECT Go to the layer palette and merge the layer down.
Make it selected again. Adjust/ Add/ Remove Noise/ Add noise/ Gaussian dotted/ Noise 18 %/
Monochrome checked. OK

Effects/ 3D Effects Cut out. Change the Blur to 60 and Shadow color to #000000. OK Click on Dodge
Brush/ size 50/ hardness 6/ step 10/ density 100/ thickness 100/ rotation 0/ opacity 16. Apply where I
circled on the screen shot. DESELECT



Selections/ load the pot2 selection. OK Add a new raster layer an flood fill with #a55d01.
DESELECT. Make the image selected again. Add a new raster layer. AIRBRUSH it with #6a462c.



Adjust/ Blur/ Gaussian Blur 5. OK DESELECT. Go to the layer palette and merge the layer down.
Make the layer selected. Adjust/ Add noise/ 18.

Dodge Brush/ brush through the lighter part of the image. Deselect. Merge the layers visible and you're done. Save your image.
