PSP Wicker Basket Tutorial |

| As always, you will need a PSP Program. This tutorial is written in PSPX but can be tried on an earlier or later versions. You will need to download the wood patterns or use your own, it's optional. | ||||
| .Open a canvas 200x200,
transparent. Open the wood1 pattern, preferably light with grain.
Preset shape tool/ rectangle. Foreground/ fill wood1. Draw a rectangle on the canvas. Convert to raster layer. Copy and Paste as a new layer 7x. Arrange the layer leaving just a tiny space in between. Merge the layer visible. Cut and paste as a new layer. You should have the image shown on the right |

Preset shape tool
triangle. Foreground and fill to lighter wood pattern. Draw a
vertical rectangle. Convert to raster layer. Copy and Paste as a new layer 5x. Merge the layer down to the last vertical rectangle. Send the image to the bottom. |

| Make the first vertical
rectangle selected. Click on the first horizontal image and hit
delete. Skip one horizontal image and click on the 3rd, hit delete,
skip one then click on the 4th and so on.

Click on the vertical
triangles and apply inner bevel.
Click on the horizontal image and apply drop shadow. Vertical 1/ horizontal 1/ opacity 50/ blur 1/ shadow color black. OK.

| Keep it selected. Effects/
3D Effects/ Cutout. Settings below.

| Merge all the layer
visible. Crop tool and crop the the image. You now have a wicker pattern. Save it as PSP image. |

Open a new canvas size
500x500, transparent. Flood fill with the wicker pattern. Effect/ Geometric Effect/ Circle. |

| Selection tool/ Freehand Selection. Make the selection as shown on the screen shot. |

|||
|

Open a new canvas size
500x500/ transparent.
Go back to the Selected image. Cut and paste to the new opened canvas. |

| Make a circular free hand selection on top of the image. Adjust/ Brightness and contrast/ Brightness -25. OK DESELECT |
