You will need a PSP program which you can get a free trial from corel.com.  You also need a wicker pattern,  if you don't have it, go to my Wicker Basket Tutorial.  Save the pattern to your PSP pattern file. 

 
 
Open a canvas 500x500/ transparent. Flood fill with wicker pattern. Effects/ Geometric Effects/  Pentagon/ Transparent. OK

Open a new canvas size 600x600. Cut and paste the pentagon to the newly opened canvas.

Selection tool/ rectangle. Select the triangle part of the pentagon.

  

 

Preset Shape/ Ellispe. Draw an ellipse on top of the image. Convert to raster layer. Adjust/
Brightness and Contrast. Brightness -20/ Contrast 0. OK. DESELECT

 

  Preset Shape/ Pentagon. Draw a pentagon on th canvas. Convert to raster layer.
   
Image/ Flip. Make the top part of the pentagon selected. Click on the lighten/ darken brush. Apply
Lighten/ Darken on the selected image.  DESELECT		  

 

  Make the bottom part of the pentagon selected. Adjust/ Brightness and Contrast. Brightness -15.
OK DESELECT
 
Make the Pentagon selected and apply inner bevel. Settings below. DESELECT.  

 

  Pen tool/ point to point/ foreground wicker pattern/ size 16. Place a point to point line above the image. Add node on the center. Edit the node to Symmetric. Drag the right node down to the bag.
Drag the left node down to the bag. Drag the center node up. Conver to raster layer.
 
Effects/ 3D Effects/ Inner Bevel. Use the same settings. Send the layer down. Copy and Paste as a new layer. Move the layer to top.  
 
Preset shape/ Ellipse. Draw a small ellipse on the left end of strap. Convert to raster layer. Make the image selected. Apply Effects/ Plugins/ KPT Collection/ Shapeshifter Or Apply SuperbladPro/ Silver. Or use the preset shape buttons.
Copy and paste the ellipse on the other end of the strap.  
 
  Preset shape/ Diamond. Place a diamond shape on the pentagon. Convert to raster layer. Cut a
rectangle selection on the center. Deselect.
 
Make the diamond selected and apply your image effects. SBP/ KPT5 collection.
Preset shape/ rectangle. Place a small rectangle on the center of the diamond. Convert to raster
layer. Apply your  Effects.

Go to the layer palette and highlight the raster 2 layer. Click on Mesh Warp Tool. Settings: Mesh Horizontal 6/ Vertical 10. Adjust the nodes to give the bottom part a round shape.

 
 
Preset Shape/ Ellipse. Foreground and fill wicker pattern. Draw an ellipse below the bag. Convert to raster layer. Apply inner Bevel. Decorate your tote bag. Merge all the layers visible and save your image.
